Been exploring creative technologist stuff lately
And ngl, this tagline is based.
(Though we’d change it to “ideas demand embodiment”)
((All worldings need embodiment; more generative embodiments afford greater worldings))
This is a sign for us to make more “wearable” Co-flourishing merch
++ open source the designs so this can cross-pollinate & co-proliferate

(Hmm)
((Stickers feel like a good start; brb))
All phenomena have embodiment
“Light” is embodied via photon-sensor co-interaction
“Ideas” are embodied via semiotic processes
^ which are embodied & relationally entangled via biosystems x sociotechnical systems/infrastructures
(ye that whole ecological omniprocessual stew)
Announcing Protopian Prize x Folk Tech Storytelling Workshop - 5/2😍 https://t.co/2lFZUxn9i1
Stories are perhaps the most powerful technology created by humans. They can be used as weapons as well as guides. Let's imagine the world if Folk Tech principles infused our technology.
Announcing The Protopian Prize | Fiction Contest 🕊️
The Protopian Prize is a fiction contest inviting you to share your vision of people working toward liberatory futures, meeting obstacles, & making real change.

This works really well btw, at the end of your query ask your LLM to "structure your response as HTML", then view the generated file in your browser. I've also had some success asking the LLM to present its output as slideshows, etc.
More generally, imo audio is the human-preferred input to AIs but vision (images/animations/video) is the preferred output from them. Around a ~third of our brains are a massively parallel processor dedicated to vision, it is the 10-lane superhighway of information into brain. As AI improves, I think we'll see a progression that takes advantage:
1) raw text (hard/effortful to read)
2) markdown (bold, italic, headings, tables, a bit easier on the eyes) <-- current default
3) HTML (still procedural with underlying code, but a lot more flexibility on the graphics, layout, even interactivity) <-- early but forming new good default
...4,5,6,...
n) interactive neural videos/simulations
Imo the extrapolation (though the technology doesn't exist just yet) ends in some kind of interactive videos generated directly by a diffusion neural net. Many open questions as to how exact/procedural "Software 1.0" artifacts (e.g. interactive simulations) may be woven together with neural artifacts (diffusion grids), but generally something in the direction of the recently viral https://t.co/z21CP5iQfu
There are also improvements necessary and pending at the input. Audio nor text nor video alone are not enough, e.g. I feel a need to point/gesture to things on the screen, similar to all the things you would do with a person physically next to you and your computer screen.
TLDR The input/output mind meld between humans and AIs is ongoing and there is a lot of work to do and significant progress to be made, way before jumping all the way into neuralink-esque BCIs and all that. For what's worth exploring at the current stage, hot tip try ask for HTML.

No one has a plan for human flourishing after AGI, nor a clear understanding of what’s even possible. So we’re hosting a 2-day workshop at LightHaven on these topics! Link below. 🧵
Anyone else feels that sometimes "Outer world" experiencing is like playing a game at x0.0001 speed, compared to "Inner worlds" experiencing?
i.e
"Inside" - causality happens at the speed-of-thought
"Outside" - the constraint dynamics make this a painfully crippled crawl ;p
@eshear “I” love the semiotic organisms that co-constitute “me”
[Semiotic Anthropologist’s Note: here we see some Semiotic-organisms saying Hi to fellow-Semiotic-organisms]
Looks cool!! Gonna try this one out :)
(Also like the possibility of personally character sketching & storyboard drafting ~>> handover to GPT Image 2 ~>> iterative refining feedback cycles ~>> Seedance 2.0)
^For more creative agency / creator intent to be captured & expressed
Since it got a bit of attention, I'm sharing the Seedance 2.0 prompts.
It's not really the kind of prompt system I want yet, I'm working on a better method that performs more consistently. I'll share that with details soon.
Also the previs prompt with gpt image 2 isn't ready yet. The one here was just loosely put together in chat with rough directions. Also working on a proper template for that.
You can find the Seedance 2.0 prompts in the replies.
Where’s my “neural-expression” technology😾
The pain of having hyper-imagination and being able to see/feel/experience everything via your mind…
But be unable to properly express/represent it, because the status-quo infrastructures suck ass
(Mind-space is myriad dimensional)
trying to use topological data analysis to map the shape of my x bookmarks through mapper + embedding extraction and generated 3 views:
- density: where attention keeps gravitating
- pca: the dominant axes of variation
- centroid: center vs edge (typical -> outlier)
You can never read too much fiction.✅
But the purest of pleasures lies in writing our story of tomorrow.💯
I invite all #InnoMinds to enter @metagov_project’s Protopian Prize Fiction Contest.🙏
