@mashapocalypse Drove there myself. Cracked a “mind if I smoke?” joke while the doc cauterized my vas deferens, and drove myself home. Procedure took about 10 or 15 minutes. A day of rest (not needed, just an excuse to watch old Universal horror films in the basement), and all was good.
@NotSaige Definitely! If you are going the casting route, it’s a short learning curve and you quickly get the satisfaction of the one thing you spent days crafting being easily replicated so you can share with friends.
@rocketfromthe That I remember? Not a horror movie, so I don’t know that it counts, but Empire Strikes Back. The back and forth between being hungry, eating popcorn that makes me thirsty, drinking soda, and missing the movie because I had to pee was brutal. I did see the bounty hunter scene!
@Zlanier21 Long runs through misty, moss and fern-covered PNW forest trails. Falling into a rhythm that makes you forget about your body, and details in the woods stands out in high contrast. Fungus. Moss. Quiet, save for steady footsteps and breath. Damp, rich, earthy. Rotten leaves. Mud.
@Mach_5_@befwebeg Wow! Memory lane (and a bit of threadomancy). This was, in fact, the first fan made Malifaux fate deck. Wyrd was super cool in letting us do these. I hope 3E turns out well!
@stroughtonsmith If it helps, most of the stuff I did, particularly the area terrain bases, were dead simple to make, and something that any hobbiest could put together. If you’re interested, I kept a project log here: https://t.co/nmxxbRpXg7 . Happy terrain-making!
@stroughtonsmith Thanks so much for the kind words! Unfortunately, I won’t be doing any more runs. The webstore will remain up for another month or so, then I’ll be closing up shop. It’s been tons of fun, but work, family, and other hobbies demand my time.
@425suzanne I hate to ask you to do this, but could you please post or PM me your full list? Those icons I recognize, I cherish. Those I don’t, I long to know! Hadn’t realized there was a Krosmaster or Epic apps!
@Fredrik_S A and C are recognizable as spaceships. D gives me a full-on Galaxy Trucker vibe. B is unique, but less recognizable as a spaceship. Could be confused for a ray gun. Without context, A and C work best. With context, all could be cool.
@GreyFoxGames After the Empire! Played this at KublaCon a couple of years ago and loved it. I'm so glad it's getting the Grey Fox treatment! Please release it soon!
@headcraftedpix I regret that I only had the chance to play three of the four. Those I played were fantastic! Thanks to all of the designers for sharing your creations with us, and congratulations!
@dnlnwmn@neilhimself The Graveyard Book is great. Jonathan Stroud's Lockwood and Company series is fantastic young adult horror, and worth checking out.
