Forcing kids traumatised by school to have mandatory
f2f meetings with LAs (often ex teachers, who think 'school is best') = forcing bullied gay children to have meetings with officials who think 'straight is best'.

Good to see that the Third Reading of the Schools Bill in the Lords has been postponed. The Bill is a total mess and will incur costs and bureaucracy the country can ill afford. Better to spend legislative time dealing with the cost of living crisis so we can get back in our feet

Today in the Lords ... Possible huge fireworks. The most cautious peer *ever*, Lord Judge, former Lord Chief Justice of England and Wales, has threatened to stop the passage of the #SchoolsBill. It's a bad Bill, made worse by Govt fumbling. (Possibly more of a devastating bomb.)
