Hurray! Its our Open Day! Time to introduce new friends to our friendly tennis club. New to the area, friends, family and all who are interested ours is a very social tennis club. Come and join us to find out what we are all about. Fun friends and food!

Hurray for Bacon Roll Day! A morning treat has transformed into a day of fun tennis matches and competitions. Many Congratulations to Derek Bajnath for guessing the exact height of the floodlight pylon and for everyone else for raising funds for our charity.

Our 2026 Club Championships Finals Day will be on Saturday 5th September. Please put it in your diary so you can plan holidays and still join the event.

Our AGM will be on Monday 23rd February. There will be more details once the Agenda has been distributed.

Our courts will receive a much needed clean over the next month. 3rd 5th, 10th and 12th February. These days are low use days and only 1 court will be dobe each day so hopefully there will be little or no disruption to play.

Don't forget to complete the LTA Safeguarding survey. Ideally in the next week and before the LTA suppirt visit.

Join your tennis chums for lunch at the Cricket Clubhouse on Monday 22nd December from 12.00 after the club session. Bring dish to share. You don't have to play to join the lunch. See you there!

Championships Day was enjoyed by competitors and spectators alike. Congratulations to the winners and runners up in all the categories and thank you to everyone for helping to make it a great day of tennis.

Our Boys Junior Team had great success at Surrey Sports Park last week in the Under 16s LTA Grade 6 Matchplay. Playing against players from all over Surrey, Berkshire and Hampshire our current Champ took 1st place and team members also took 6th and 8th place.

Because of Junior Summer Camp our Wednesday morning club sessions will be frim 10am to 12 non or 23rd 30th July and 6th August, and only courts 1 and 2. Monday and Friday remain the same.

WTC were pleased to be visited by residents from Worplesden View and Silverbirch Care Homes on 4th July. Knowing several were keen tennis fans, we entertained them with some if our very own tennis action and were joined by one if their staff members who excelled!
