@sousassr -- sigh, she slipped off her coat and tossed it onto a nearby chair. She lifted her wrist to check her watch, nearly 1am. She hadn't --

@OfFlyingAce Peggy couldn't help but return a small smile. "Yes, Steven, you are. Just don't get too cocky."

[Pᴇɢɢʏ Cᴀʀᴛᴇʀ @WorthyDirector]

@JeweledEffect Peggy hummed as if she was thinking. "What for?" she asked.

[Pᴇɢɢʏ Cᴀʀᴛᴇʀ @WorthyDirector]

@JeweledEffect Peggy raised an eyebrow. "What is it?"

[Pᴇɢɢʏ Cᴀʀᴛᴇʀ @WorthyDirector]

@OfFlyingAce Peggy ground her teeth. She supposed it would be unfair to stop him. "Be careful," she warned.

@OfFlyingAce Peggy's gaze followed him. "He did, did he?" she murmured, folding her arms.

@JeweledEffect Peggy smiled at her. "Thank you, sweetheart. What brings you around?" she asked.

[Pᴇɢɢʏ Cᴀʀᴛᴇʀ @WorthyDirector]

@OfFlyingAce Peggy froze, taking a brief moment to process his words. "Why?" she asked.

[Pᴇɢɢʏ Cᴀʀᴛᴇʀ @WorthyDirector]

@JeweledEffect Steals a granola bar. "Good morning, dear."

[Pᴇɢɢʏ Cᴀʀᴛᴇʀ @WorthyDirector]

@OfFlyingAce "Good," Peggy replied with a smile, "I'm proud of you, Steven. Don't ever forget that."

[Pᴇɢɢʏ Cᴀʀᴛᴇʀ @WorthyDirector]

@OfFlyingAce Peggy folded her arms. "Yes, but I'm still your mother and you should believe everything I say," she told him.

[Pᴇɢɢʏ Cᴀʀᴛᴇʀ @WorthyDirector]

@OfFlyingAce Peggy laughed softly. "I only tell the truth, Steven," she said, "Most of the time."

[Pᴇɢɢʏ Cᴀʀᴛᴇʀ @WorthyDirector]

@OfFlyingAce "Of course," Peggy replied with a grin, stroking a thumb over his cheek, "You look more like your father every day, you know?"

[Pᴇɢɢʏ Cᴀʀᴛᴇʀ @WorthyDirector]

@OfFlyingAce -- support your decision and I know Daniel will too."

[Pᴇɢɢʏ Cᴀʀᴛᴇʀ @WorthyDirector]

@OfFlyingAce Peggy moved from her spot to take hold of his arms gently. "Stop pacing," she said softly, smiling at him, "If you want to, I completely --

[Pᴇɢɢʏ Cᴀʀᴛᴇʀ @WorthyDirector]

@OfFlyingAce Peggy's head moved with him as he paced. "Are you sure you're ready?" she asked.
