Even through the difficult circumstances of medieval times, the people of India never abandoned their deities or their faith.
Temples were destroyed and circumstances changed, but devotion endured. Where it was not possible to return to the original temple site, people built smaller temples nearby in the name of the same deity and continued their tradition of worship.
That is the enduring strength of our civilization-faith survives not because circumstances are easy, but because belief remains strong.🚩
