RFK Jr. on Novak Djokovic: “Thanks for standing up for freedom. As my dad said: ‘Moral courage is a rarer commodity than bravery in battle or great intelligence. Yet it is the one essential, vital quality for those who seek to change a world that yields most painfully to change.”
@RinoTheBouncer I totally agree with you. What is gonna happen? Many Gamers will simply walk away. Maybe Sega or another company will step in with a new console and declare their ongoing support for physical media.
We see a lot of comments online comparing the financial situations of Jeremy & Kaleb to ordinary farmers, of which they are obviously not.
The vast majority of Jeremy & Kaleb’s financial status is a reflection of their celebrity status, new or old. It is not a reflection of their time spent as farmers.
Most farmers struggle year in & year out. A sector under immense pressure with the goal to feed a nation, please respect them at all costs.🤝
RECAP: The industry have been trying to spread out lies regarding physical games being unprofitable and a niche market, but reality has a different story🚀
✅Sony shipped nearly 70 million physical PlayStation discs worldwide in FY2025
✅In the UK, physical market exceeded £300 million in 2025, with 25% of young gamers (under 25) still using discs
✅In Spain, physical sales hit €294 million. While digital revenue seems higher (61.9%), it is heavily inflated by the inclusion of DLCs, subscriptions, and mobile apps.
✅Around 121 countries (64% of the world) lacks reliable internet or a dedicated PlayStation Store, making physical discs a strict necessity rather than just a preference.
✅Phasing out physical games is a profit-driven move that threatens game ownership.
✅Allowing companies to eliminate physical media gives them unchecked monopoly power over pricing and availability, a shift that will eventually hurt digital consumers, too.
Resident Evil Requiem sales were used to perpetuate the lie that only a small minority buy physical, games but worldwide sales also tell a different story:
🇺🇸22% (to end of June) in the US
🇫🇷55% physial in France
🇯🇵51% in Japan
🇦🇺43% in Australia
🇬🇧40% in UK
We are not advocating for the end of digital games. We are not merely calling for nostalgia.
But being able to hold a hard copy that you can:
✅Buy at competitive prices
✅Trade and resell
✅Keep forever
✅Use without reliance on networks
Is the bare minimum of expectations in terms of customer rights.
And this whole digital-only future has shown time and time again to be anti-consumer and a stepping stone towards a cloud streaming future where you own nothing, and likely pay even more, and your games can be taken away or altered without compensation.
And that tired argument of “but discs require downloads and internet too” this too is part of our movement. Discs MUST have the full game and does not require extra downloads.
PERIOD
NO DISC 💿 NO BUY

Whether you're a business owner employing staff, a parent paying school fees, a farmer planning succession, an entrepreneur building wealth or simply someone trying to save for retirement...
You keep less of what you earn.
You keep less of what you invest.
You leave less to your family.
Death by a thousand cuts is becoming tax policy.
@xMBGx I won’t be buying a PS 6 . Overtime I see myself playing more Nintendo Switch and retro consoles such a GBA and PS3. I love collecting games and keeping physical copies. I can also trade in at CEX
