@Pinko69420 These people want to pay for Medicare that they already paid for with every paycheck of their lives. They vote for people who are privatizing Medicare more and more with each new election. Then they complain about Medicare and its shortcomings. Hummm...........
@essenviews Humm, I wonder if this obvious trend correlates to the amount of money our leaders are taking from special interests, big-dollar donors....
Seems The People are not their priority, and The People know it.
@ValforNevada The Democrat Party moved me to the left in 1976, and I voted Dem until 2016. That Democrat Party no longer exists. They are now Republicans. I have no political voice, but I sure am taxed. Taxation Without Representation is ever-present.
@davidsirota UH, you're partly right, sir. While "affording the basic necessities of life" is a distraction" for me, I will care about J6 when the Dem Party comes to a reckoning with the Dem Presidential Primaries of 2016 and 2024 that installed Trump. I have no political voice.
@alfranken And because Jimmy Carter got elected, the Dem Party created superdelegates like you who voted against the majority of their own constituents in 2016--to make sure another Jimmy Carter didn't slip through the cracks.
I will never forget your roll in the 2016 Dem Convention. Sad.
@ninaturner Most respectfully, I'm finding that Medicare is getting more privatized every year, and "they" are taking my social security money to pay for Medicare that I have already paid for, using my money to pay for healthcare that I've already paid for....Universal single-payer instead.
This venue is getting worse by the day. If I wanted to see posts from The View, CNN, MSNBC, Fox News, or any other corporate-owned media, I would watch them. I'm not interested in arguments within the narrow crack of the Overton Window, all right-wing in my view. Corruption.
@DoctorHenryCT And the irony is that the ACLU would defend Elon's right to have his view............
He really doesn't understand the role of the ACLU.
