In the coming weeks I'll write up a summary of my experiences with the health insurance in India and what I felt could have been better. Something a startup can come in and disrupt.

Is it just me or is insurance in India a massive scam? For years now we have kept up our premiums but when the time comes to pay up, companies like @ManipalCigna / @MediAssistIndia refrain from paying up with nonsensical reasons.

@ManipalCigna @MediAssistIndia While I have the privilege to access social networks and draw attention, many in my position don't or don't know how to or where to begin. I personally witnessed distressing situations in the hospital with respect to claims. I urge you to take this opportunity to do better.

@MediAssistIndia @ManipalCigna I have been contacting your support agents and provided all the information. Your software is shit and sometimes it’s the lack of a doctors note and sometimes it’s the lack of a stamp, but you seem to find excuses to pay up.
