Important Update Regarding QoWatt [Web2] & QoWatt Ecosystem [Web3]

Nearly one month ago to the day, I made the decision to communicate with full transparency about the financial health of both QoWatt and QoWatt Ecosystem. I shared the purpose behind the QoWatt Station Share program, the vision driving it, and the reasons for putting the initiative on hold, primarily due to the potential high-risk nature of such an investment for our community. I also touched on the possible migration to a new blockchain, with Solana and Base being among the options considered for a fresh start.

Four weeks have passed… and EGLD has continued to decline at a pace far beyond that of other assets. Community confidence in MultiversX has collapsed entirely. Marketing campaigns and so-called “revolutionary” launches have had little to no effect, like throwing a sword into the sea. Of course, geopolitical tensions don’t help… but we can’t blame everything on them. The damage had already been done.

As a result, QoWatt’s EGLD/EUR reserves have continued to shrink rapidly, reaching a point today where they are no longer sufficient to fund the full scope of our current infrastructure connection projects, not to mention the operational costs of the lean team behind both QoWatt and QoWatt Ecosystem.

For this reason, I’ve made the difficult but necessary decision to initiate the sale of all of QoWatt’s charging infrastructure assets. We must face reality: we are no longer in a position to reach profitability within the allotted timeframe. The sharp fall of EGLD accelerated this outcome faster than anticipated and now prevents us from completing projects already underway.

Remaining funds will be used to sustain operations while the asset sale is organized and to settle outstanding invoices related to recently launched projects with imminent payment deadlines.

Our goal is to secure the best possible valuation with one clear objective: to return the exact amount of the 67,565 $EGLD raised in 2021/2022 to current holders of QWT/Cards/Coins/BoostedRewards, proportionate to their holdings at the time of a forthcoming snapshot. The aim is to repay in EGLD at a higher rate than its current market value. If, due to a hypothetical and significant increase in $EGLD’s value, full reimbursement becomes unachievable, we will do everything in our power to get as close as possible.

QoWatt’s debts are not limited to our Web3 community, they also include obligations to suppliers and financial institutions. Nevertheless, I am highly confident that the asset sale will yield a result sufficient to settle all liabilities and honor our commitment to the Web3 community with an EGLD-equivalent reimbursement of the full amount raised.

We will keep you informed as soon as we have a concrete acquisition proposal. Initial discussions have begun with national operators who have shown early interest. However, no offers have been submitted at this stage, and activity is unlikely to accelerate before September.

I will not abandon this community. Every effort will be made to bring a dignified close to the incredible journey we’ve shared. As for me, my passion for Web3 remains intact. I am far from done, and I refuse to let this chapter end in failure, all because of one critical mistake: not securing and liquidating the raised $EGLD at the right time.
