Brennan Broders added to his undefeated season improving to 7-0!

Thursday night the wrestlers began the season 1-1, with a loss to Central-DeWitt 27-49 and a win over Louisa-Muscatine 36-28!

Muscatine wrestlers competed today at the Grandview University dual team camp! Dalton Sell, Brennan Broders, Carson Harder, Cedric Castillo, Ryan Townsend, Kuinton Middagh, Trevor Barkalow, Emma Faust, Tim Nimely, Togeh Deseh, Mason Crabtree, Nathan Beatty, Bob Carver!

Rnd3 he won by fall in 4:23 against Cole Rathjen (jr from Ankeny with a 30-15 record who took 3rd at districts).
Rnd4 he lost 6-16 to Brayden Wolf (2018 Folkstyle State placer-5th from Waverly Shell-Rock, a soph with a 43-9 record).

Rnd1 he won 9-7 against Brock Bortolotti (2018 Folkstyle State Qualifier from Council Bluffs Lewis Central, a sr with a 34-16 record).
Rnd2 he lost 0-12 to Boone McDermott, who won the bracket, (2018 Folkstyle State Champion from Dubuque Wahlert, a sr with a 45-1 record.

Dalton Sell battled hard but lost both matches today to #8 Indianola and #9 CR Prairie and is eliminated one round before placing. He finished the season with a 32-14 record!

Dalton Sell won his first round match 14-8 against Glenwood and will face Indianola at 9:00 am in the Quarterfinals!!!
Shane Mathias lost both his matches to #2 from Dowling and #5 from DM Valley and is eliminated. He fought hard and represented the Muskies with class!!!
