Minnesota anglers will be able to fish without a license from Tuesday, June 2 to Monday, June 8 during a pause in the DNR’s licensing system. Fishing regulations and bag limits are in effect. The pause is due to the DNR’s switch to an e-licensing system that will go live June 9.

CP Railroad will close CSAH 6 at the railroad crossing south of Hwy. 55 in Corinna Township. The work will begin on Sunday, May 17 with the closure of CSAH 6 and will remain closed through Wednesday, May 20. No detour will be posted and the closure is weather dependent
The Minnesota DNR has issued a Red Flag Warning for half the state for today. Wright County is not in the Red Flag zone, it is designated as "Very High" in terms of fire danger risk due to a combination of high winds, low humidity and dry vegetation that can help a fire spread.
