@DandyDuck118582@UnbekanntRaza@bluerazzskelly All I’m saying is the option is always there, especially if you have a disability and have asked for accommodations. Even if you don’t, no one can stop you or punish you from going to the bathroom. If they do, document it and turn it into the DoL. ADA violations are a big deal.
@JibekMechler@bluerazzskelly These companies aren’t as good at covering up blatant discrimination as they like people to think. There’s a reason it’s common practice to not fire anyone for like a year after they take FMLA, they don’t even want to make it seem like it was a part of the consideration.
@JibekMechler@bluerazzskelly If it’s part of a disability accommodation it really can’t, and if it’s not I already added the “if you’re not doing it all the time” qualifier. They technically aren’t ever allowed to stop you from going to the bathroom for whatever reason. People need to learn their rights.
@stanningcarys@bluerazzskelly Because they didn’t let you go to the bathroom and made you bleed all over or whatever, it’s not only wrong but illegal to treat you that way! I get it’s easy to take it and move on but it obviously still bothers you, I’m just trying to give advice if something happens again.
@stanningcarys@bluerazzskelly That’s what the department of labor is for. Document and then hand it over to them. I have done similar things with the DoL and OSHA. It’s not you alone vs the company, or at least it shouldn’t be.
@JibekMechler@bluerazzskelly You won’t get fired for stepping out if you’re not doing it all the time. They don’t own you, the rules are part of an employment agreement you can choose to break if they don’t suit you. If the consequences for staying and melting down are worse than leaving, just leave.
@DandyDuck118582@UnbekanntRaza@bluerazzskelly Actually you can! Up to and including leaving work. Not saying there won’t be consequences but if it’s going to be worse if you stay, just leave and take the point or chewing out or whatever the punishment is.
@stanningcarys@bluerazzskelly If something like that happens again just go to the bathroom. You’re an adult. You’re bleeding. Let them try to stop you and get hit with a lawsuit.
@_The_Wub_ If you don’t have a team you’re born into being forced to love, the best way to go about it is to develop the ability to get really into whatever game you are watching at the moment then completely forget about it when it is over (except you always remember the good shit)
@corpseinorbit Ram is probably the album I’ve listened to the most in my adult life. Wings is super underrated. Paul is best beatle, john was a neurotic dickhead who always had to be kept in check by someone else and George got cucked by Clapton and lost in the mystic sauce. Ringo is there too.
@Kars2B@ProfofEvil Exactly, the only way for Superman to have an actual problem is via personal/social dynamics or not realizing what is happening until it’s too late. I thought this scene did a good job showing why he’s different from the other guys even if he fails.
@RobertSkvarla He’s a demon hunter and stepping on their intergalactic outreach mission’s toes. How are we gonna baptize the aliens if they hear about a priest running around calling them demons?
@ettingermentum I know you were just a baby when LeBron was getting started but he didn’t win a ring with the Cavaliers the first go around, he had to go to the Heat to do that.
