@Sally_writes That’s so impressive to get there! I think unconsciously I use big goals as a distraction from what I’m coping with now. Maybe unconsciously they get linked to the other things we want and when they can’t deliver those it’s tough. Hope the feeling eases
1. Before I became an author I thought I’d never be asked to speak at literary festivals because all the ones I went to didn’t have ramps. Now I’m proud of my collection of ramp photos taken at the venues I’m asked to speak at. 😀 See it to be it! @LondonBookFair@emblabooks
@thegoodagencyuk So sad to read this. A huge thank you to everyone at The Good Agency for all the work done. Wishing you all the best in your future endeavours. You’ll be missed.
I have two book events coming up and I'm vaguely concerned that no one is going to show up 😅 so please share this if you can
First I'm chatting with @aphrabookclub at 6:30 16th Jan at the @TheGildedAcorn

Had a great time at Folkestone Book Festival. Our glorious audience wanted us to report back to the publishing industry loud and clear that readers want disabled characters and diverse voices - and they want them now! 📚
@hopefullizzy It should be fine according to GMC rules Lizzy. ‘This states that doctors should not accept ‘an unsolicited gift’ unless it is ‘of minimal value’, defined as gifts such as flowers, fruit, sweets or cake.’
