Curiosity prompts me to ask: in a sentence such as 'The snow fell quickly, that is, it fell more quickly than before', how many of you would change the comma after 'quickly' to a semicolon?

@KrystinaMierins Personally I think 'critique' is fine to leave in the singular here as it's used in the sense of a mass noun, 'a body of critique', rather than individual bits of critique. Especially if the author feels strongly about it.
