So we laid a mattress from an empty top bunk on the ground next to her. That night she did fall off the top bunk but landed on the mattress and somehow didn't get hurt. Another girl switched with her after that. 2/2

When I was 10, a girl in my cabin at summer camp didn't want to sleep on the top bunk because she had a history of falling off the bed. No one on the lower bunks would switch. I would've switched with her but I was already assigned to a top bunk. 1/2
