@lai_lette You people are fucking crazy in these comments. I’ve been a manager almost 20 years- 9 of them were at Sbux- and the complete lack of empathy astounds me. Showing up for your people is how you get them to show up for you.

I write best in the mornings. I know this yet I’ll procrastinate and then not have the time or energy later. Not today Satan! A few words from 1k before 8am makes me a productive young lady. #1000wordsofsummer
I’m still chugging along. The last three days I didn’t quite hit goal but I’m still proud I wrote every day. Today I managed 1600 words, my highest tally yet. I may just hit my goal of 4 new short stories by the time this ends. #1000wordsofsummer

I’m teaching myself the important lesson of “making time to write.” I’m writing over a 1,000 words a day because I’m prioritizing #1000wordsofsummer. Finished my first story and started something for my thesis. 1100 words today!
