It is better to be over prepared than underprepared for winter weather.
Things to have on hand as the winter weather approaches:
✅ Extra warm clothes & blankets
✅ Portable lights and extra batteries
✅ First-aid kit
✅ Extra nonperishable food and water for family and pets
Are any of my followers in the medical field? I ordered a box of individually wrapped medium/large N95 masks from project95 when we were in the thick of Covid care here at Haughton House. But they don’t fit me properly. I thought I had a normal head but these are SO TIGHT.
I’d love to send some to Twitter friends who are nurses or EMTs or nursing home staff or docs. Email me if your head isn’t giant like mine apparently is and you’d like me to send some your way. contact at alexandrahaughton dot com. 😷❤️

@piperhuguley Stop thinking. Start buying. I’m sooo in love. It doesn’t have to plug in. (At least the one I got doesn’t.) And maybe buying and returning the cartridges is just as bad as buying packs and packs and packs of fizzy water in cans, but I like to think it’s better.
I have so many “recipes” I’ve developed, but honestly a splash of lime juice is divine. And, pro-tip: keep the glass bottle in the fridge even if it’s empty.
This isn’t sponsored (but hey @SodaStreamUSA hit me uppppp). This is the one Mom got me and I adore the glass vessels—I’m constantly amazed that they keep the water fizzy hours later! https://t.co/tVMnNKCEID
