@MoreOrLessAMess We stayed in Bern, Switzerland one week one summer in an Airbnb that was just above a kabob shop. Super convenient for food, but it made the 90° heat in the city feel about 110°. No AC of course. So from that perspective their 90° city temperature felt worse.

@sapphyreblayze Pretty hard to dry clothes outside in the winter when it's -35F. My grandmother had to do that for most of her childhood and young adult life until dryers were invented. But apparently Europeans think we should still be trying to get frostbite.
