@ARFrederiksen My WIP would be all native wildflowers! Bloodroot in the center, surrounded by delicate pink spring beauty, gorgeous yellow trout lilies, and hepatica of every color. Reminders that there is beauty hiding all around us, and sometimes it's fleeting.

I got a full rejection and a query rejection today, but on the bright side I got to meet some giant trees at work. So overall, could've been worse.

I always forget how vulnerable it feels to start #amquerying a project. You spend months or years pouring time, energy, & emotion into a book you love, then send it out for dozens of professionals to reject.

Anyway, here's hoping a little forest magic comes through this time.
