I'm really touched by this shoutout from @ItxyLopez in her article, "How to Write Without Caring What People Think."
I definitely DO care what people think, but it's nice to know that doesn't come across in my writing. 😂

It's finally up! I've been working on this Frankenstein piece for ages because I wanted to get it right. I hope you like it and I hope it's the #Halloween deep-dive you had no idea you needed.🎃🧟♂️⚰️

Got dressed up and pretty for my first #therapy appointment with a new therapist today. Why would I bother to do that? …I’ll let you know when she diagnoses me.
@booksbysavannah I’ve got one playlist of songs I know so well that I’m not listening to the lyrics and one of instrumental/lyrics in languages I don’t know so I’m not even tempted to sing along. Depends what I’m in the mood for.
@BCAuthor21 Double consonants always trip me up for a second. Ridden, rabbi, compelled, arranged. I always type them correctly out of habit but then I second-guess myself because it looks wrong.
If you’re wondering- it’s never not spot-on, but not always in such an obvious way. Some, you have to read the book to understand. For example, this one made me curious to read. (Ended up being about how I let my concept of reality push me around):
I have this thing I do with new books. In place of a bookmark, I draw an archetype card, which gives me guidance for which aspect of this book I need to look out for or which aspect of myself I need to look for in it.

@booksbysavannah Hi there! I’m a US writer living in Spain. I write about History, Travel, and Culture…with some snark. I’m currently working on a novel/memoir for a family member of a legendary American rock band.
