The anthology may also become an online publication this year, but we will keep you posted on this too. So watch this space!
We hope most of all that you and your families are all staying well, & you have been able to write more poems or stories in your extra time at home! (5/5)
During these uncertain times, we wanted to take the opportunity to reassure you that the #WritingWizardryComp is continuing to run as normal. However we are in the process on making adjustments so that we can still celebrate the amazing entries we have had in a safe way. (1/5)
In addition, we are sad to say that we will not be able to hold an awards event as planned. Instead we are looking into creating a virtual awards night once we have the shortlist & @MaryAliceEvans is available, allowing us to celebrate all those who are shortlisted safely. (4/5)
We have just seen the shortlist of cover designs & just had to share them with you! They are amazing! They're designed by @bournemouthuni students.
These aren't the final versions & there will be tweaks before printing.
We can't wait to see which wins!
#WritingWizardryComp
We are loving the sunshine (from the safety of our homes) & we are loving all your stories and poems! Today I have a special judge with me too! She's hard to please but she's enjoying some of your entries too! We hope everyone is keeping well and safe!

If you are self-isolating with your children and they need something to do, why not get them to write a poem or story of 500 words or less to enter into the competition! Just make sure you have it sent to us by Friday via email.

There are only 5 days left to enter the #WritingWizardryComp!
In these tough times we thought we would share this amazing poem written by @MissBerryNQT who sent in her class' entries last week. It put a smile on our face and we hope it does the same for you!

@MissBerryNQT Hi Sophie,
We actually safely received your entries yesterday! Thank you for sending them over and we can't wait to get reading them all!
Of the designs, one is chosen for the final printed book which all shortlisted writers will be published in and receive a copy of!
We will hopefully be able to share this year's winning design in the next few weeks... so stay tuned!

With only a week and a half left until the competition closes, we thought we'd share some of our previous book covers!
Each year Bournemouth University WEP students are set the challenge to design a cover for the competition anthology.
