How about:
LGBTQ+ folks mobilized & demanded help
We didn’t sit around waiting for the government to get its shit together. We organized vaxx events at our *bars*, we told our friends, many abstained from sex while waiting to get vaxxed
Just like we had to do in the 80s & 90s
It's Labor Day. A great way to celebrate, if you work today, is to talk with a coworker.
Build that relationship. Strengthen your bond as workers but also as people. If you want to take on the boss, to fight for the better day, you'll need allies. Socialize before you organize.
Yesterday, we won.
We ended last night with a 58% majority, winning by more than 26 percentage points.

PLEASE STOP sharing videos of their violence without an ability to opt in to seeing it.
And on a less famous scale, there are abusive men in your life who are charming, who look kind, and who continually benefit from assumed good intent and go unchecked.
Believe victims. And stop accepting the bare minimum from men as the bar for what is “good”.
Tbh I am never surprised when a famous white dude is was actually an abuser all along…
But I do think he’s a really important reminder that when we are uncritically heralding someone as a “savior” or letting them be “one of the good ones” we are creating massive blind spots.
Part of me understands the backlash against that white woman calling Lizzo "Precious". But there is a huge part of me (all of me) that is even a bit more concerned about Gabourey Sidibe having to see the entire internet confirm that being compared to her is an insult.
