@ClownWorld Maybe not what it seems. Often they do pray in inconvenient place, like in the middle of the highway just to annoy people, but this case the curtains are closed on the truck behind him. It’s possible this pump is out of service and the trucks are just parked there. Not a problem.
@EricSpracklen Why do they go out of their way to obsess over that one overpriced house on the market, as if they even need 2300 sqft home anyway. There are plenty of homes at 1000sqft at a fraction of that cost. I’ve seen new construction in Texas around $140k, making hysteria over nothing.
@MAGAMAHACindy@DonnieTsAss Depends on what state you are from. Plenty of new plants being built in the states that value work ethics. Others like Minnesota had economies feeding off defrauding taxpayers, that pipeline is being cutoff and they aren’t happy about it.
@BoomerDivvies@CarsonTalkMoney Having a huge stash in the account is a tool enhancing my life. Shit goes wrong I just throw money at it until the problem goes away.
You are implying it needs to be spent on stuff, that’s not really necessary. We can live at a Warren Buffett standard of living is plenty enough.
@SoLPatrickHenry@rublerubl3@DefiantLs Exactly. So you get lower costs from the increased supply and people don’t need to work as hard for a carton of eggs or anything else. Thats the whole point of having increased efficiency from AI or any other technology to produce things cheaper than doing everything by hand.
@SoLPatrickHenry@rublerubl3@DefiantLs Ok you are just making things up. Prices fluctuate all the time. Egg prices, for example, are down like 90% since Trump took office. Good government policies and automation are inherently deflationary. Drop costs by 50% and people only need to work half as much. They don’t die.
@SoLPatrickHenry@rublerubl3@DefiantLs We had essentially a chronic multigenerational 50% unemployment rate up until the feminist revolution. I think we can more than survive a few basis points and life gets easier with deflation that comes from tech automation anyway. Somehow that part always gets left out.
@rublerubl3@SoLPatrickHenry@DefiantLs A problem with US millennials is 25% of them are either gigantic disgusting obese or junkies addicted to drugs. People like that, it doesn’t matter how good the economy is, they will always fall behind and demanding infinity free government welfare handouts to support them.
@rublerubl3@SoLPatrickHenry@DefiantLs Companies have been announcing layoffs and even the federal government is laying off huge numbers. Unemployment numbers are improving. It means it’s just jobs shifting around.
@SoLPatrickHenry@DefiantLs Our employment numbers are improving. It’s just people shifting from one job to another. This is all also happening as the federal government is laying off huge numbers. All of the employment is being absorbed elsewhere. There is no job loss from AI.
@andrenftart@DefiantLs Doomers are relentless. Even when they are completely wrong, they don’t stop to reconsider if their understanding is ever false.
@SoLPatrickHenry@DefiantLs Which company is saying this? There have been layoffs, but overall employment numbers have been improving. Means we are not losing jobs but people are shifting from one job to another.
@trajan_blind@DefiantLs Sort of the point everyone says to have some months of personal expenses in savings. That is how it’s no big deal for anyone to lose their job, or even quit if they don’t want to be there.
@MarkUrban@DefiantLs I don’t know of any major company saying they are firing workers and replacing them with AI. It’s only Bernie Sanders saying this.
