@2manPick@UnderdogNBA Dean Wade is a better defender and decision maker than oubre. Drummond is a defensive liability, grimes is incredibly inconsistent and unreliable.
@2manPick@UnderdogNBA Sixers have a 3 headed monster at guard Maxey,VJ Edgecombe, Labaron. PG still gives you 17-18ppg a night. We saw what Embiid did to the Celtics. They don’t need stars, need role players who play defense, make the right plays exactly like Dean Wade
To be clear: yes, the Sixers *are* hard-capped, even though this is not the entirety of the non-taxpayer's mid-level exception. It is not possible to sign this contract with the tax MLE, which means this has to come out of the non-tax MLE and trigger the hard cap.
So! The #Sixers have agreed to a deal with Dean Wade. It's time for a video thread!
He is a terrific corner 3-point shooter. Per CTG, he shot 41% on corner 3s. He can spot up in the corner and knock down open looks within Philly's offense, like in this 1st video.
Free agent forward Dean Wade has agreed to a four-year, $39 million deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, sources tell ESPN. Several contenders pursued the former Cavaliers forward, who has become an indispensable defending and shooting frontcourt piece.
