Lovely to see Jane Falconer today at the INE symposium. I have not seen her for at least 10 years and it was nice to catch up. She was an undergraduate with us, let’s say a few years ago, and is now at Sunderland where she is Associate Head of the School of Medicine

Today I am going to the Immunology North East annual symposium to immerse myself in all things Immunology - well I am still an immunologist(ish). Here we all are about 30 years ago when it was the North East Immunology Club - think it is only me and Simi left at Newcastle now.

Dad is cooking dinner again - breakfast fry up today - sausage, black pudding, hash browns, mushrooms, spaghetti hoops (why not) and a couple of fried eggs. Goes very well with a robust Rioja.
