As a part of Indian Army's ongoing efforts to promote conservation of the environment and development in the Valley. A Tree Plantation Drive under the theme *EK PED MAA KE NAAM* was conducted by Kaitsan Army camp of Wular Battalion.

The National Youth Policy focuses on education, employment, youth leadership,health and social justice with sustainable development goals in the Valley. A lecture on the same policy was conducted by Mantrigam army camp of Wular Battalion for the youth of neighbouring villages
