Toxic people thrive on conflict. They want you defending yourself, explaining yourself, reacting to every little thing they throw at you. That's how they keep control. The power is in learning to disengage completely. Stop feeding their chaos. They can't play the game if you're no longer on the field.
There's a different kind of peace that comes when you stop looking for somebody to complete your life. You stop chasing attention, forcing conversations, and wondering where you stand with people. Your time becomes your own again, your mind gets quieter, and your peace stops depending on anybody else. Sometimes being unavailable to everybody is exactly what you need.
I actually didn’t talk shit about you, I just said what happened and it’s your fault if the situation makes you like the piece of shit you chose to be.
When I care, I’m all in. I check on you, make time, fix what feels off, and give chances because losing the connection actually matters to me. But once I stop caring, all that effort disappears with it. I don’t argue, ask questions, or look for answers anymore. You get silence, distance, and a version of me that no longer cares how it ends.
I don’t want a soft life because I’m lazy. I want a soft life because I’ve spent most of my life in survival mode. my nervous system has been in fight or flight since childhood and now I’m choosing peace and stability.
You can have the purest intentions in the world, but if something isn’t meant for you, it won’t stay. Some people come into our lives and leave a mark we’ll never forget. Even with love, effort and the best intentions, not everyone is meant to stay forever. And as painful as it is, sometimes all we can do is let them go and be grateful for the moments we shared. It’s okay to lose people. Just never lose yourself trying to keep them. Because in the end, what matters most is that you were genuine, you loved sincerely and you stayed true to who you are.
I can't respect somebody who can take everything I offer. My time, my loyalty, my support, my effort, my peace, and still not value me fr. That's why I started moving different. I'm not perfect, but I know I deserve more than being drained and taken for granted. If love come with stress and constant disrespect, I'd rather be alone. I'm not putting up with anything just to keep somebody in my life.
After certain situations, you don’t look at people the same anymore. No matter how hard you try to forgive them, the vibe is just off. The trust isn’t the same, the conversations don’t feel the same, and the connection just isn’t what it used to be. That’s why I stopped forcing myself to see past things. Once something changes how I see you, it stays that way.
When your heart belongs completely to Christ, fear loses its grip, discouragement loses its power, and purpose becomes clear. Make Jesus your first love, your highest priority, and your greatest pursuit, because at the end of life, the only thing that will truly matter is GOD!
july, cleanse my intentions in light. remove anything that blocks me from seeing myself, the layers i’ve outgrown, the noise i’ve mistaken for direction and the versions of me that were only meant to be temporary. make room for the parts of me that don’t need permission to exist.
I’ll NEVER be in a relationship where arguing every day feels normal. I can’t do that anymore. I'll laugh with you everyday. Talk with you everyday. Build with you everyday. Listen to you everyday. But we’re not arguing. We’re not yelling. We’re not tryna be “RIGHT” in the situation. We not saying "I'm sorry” just to say sorry again. We not playing victim every single day. We growing up over here & we are going to communicate like adults📌.
I'm at a point in my life where I pray to keep meeting the right people. People who genuinely want the best for me, hold me in high regard, and add peace to my life.
Being rare means many people will admire the idea of having you in their life. They're drawn to your energy, your presence, your essence. But admiration alone doesn't equal capacity. Some people are fascinated by what you are, but unprepared for what you require. They enjoy the feeling of you, but not the responsibility of maintaining you. And that's where the disconnect begins. Because rarity isn't just about being desired, it's about being sustained.
And not everyone who is drawn to you is equipped to keep you.
