Flickering Peak丨玉山岚峰 正大咖啡小镇艺术中心 2024

In 2024, the Flickering Peak, designed by Wutopia Lab, was completed in Coffee Village, Wanning, Hainan. The Sun River Art Center, covered with a semi-transparent white Ferrari membrane composed of three perforation rates, was built on a coffee plantation developed by returned overseas Chinese from Indonesia. With its dramatic visual expressions during day and night, it has become a cultural landmark symbolizing miracles and hope in the local area.

🔻We use the triangle to symbolize the cape at the end of the world. The ubiquitous triangle in the interior has become the motif of the bookstore. The exhibition hall, staircase hall, retail tables, cafe bar, custom-made book tables, and seats form right angles of different sizes vying to point towards the sea, they express the richness and sharpness of human thoughts and feelings and finally stop in front of the glass, echoing the sea that stops outside in front of the glass.

The Satori Harbor丨朝彻书屋 2020

In Master Zhuangzi, the word Satori (Zhao Che) describes a state of transcendental being in the practice of Taoism, as the morning light shining across the entire earth.

We see the library materializing the complex mechanism of the world – an abstract harbor city where the readers can wander through books and experience their moments of enlightenment and deliverance. Satori Harbor symbolizes a moral place for the practice of life.
