@Coinvo@TheLINKApe Are these the same credible FBI sources that provided you the “receipts” for the collusion with Russia or said there was nothing on Hunter’s laptop? If there are receipts let’s see them.
"Every creature in the universe, every bird in the trees, every fish in the seas, has to live with scarcity, maximizing use of scarce resources."
"The only creature who doesn't do that, is the politician, because he's always using someone else's money."
HYPOCRISY ALERT: Virginia Democrats passed gun control that “shall not apply to any member of the General Assembly.”
They’re taking away guns—but not theirs.
@PeterSchiff@Rajatsoni No one would care. Energy would be free and in abundance, healthy human lifespans dramatically increased without cognitive deficits or physical malady. No one would buy it only because it’s no longer needed.
@JaysonKamoss@CAgovernor@grok It’s 4500-5000 extra per person per year. 195 Billion annually and 1.365 Trillion over his tenure. https://t.co/U3589QEqF4
@KevinRMullins@CAgovernor You’re forgetting gas prices comparison. ~$195 billion per year extra compared to national average. That’s $1.365 Trillion over his tenure.
@CAgovernor No amount of spin from Newsom can cover up he has cost CA residents an average of $195 Billion per year in extra gas prices compared to the national average due to horrible leadership and policy decisions. That’s $1.365 Trillion with a T over his tenure as governor!!!
@PeterSchiff@Crypto0637 How exactly do you use gold over the internet?
Peter’s response: “you use tokenized gold”
How do you then solve the counter party risk problem?
Peter’s response: …
@PeterSchiff@TimDraper Fundamental to your argument is Executive Order 6102, 1933
All your “tokenised” gold is now seized. You above all people should understand this.
Every bitcoin company, bitcoin policy organization and bitcoiner should actively oppose the crypto market structure bill unless the following is committed to:
1) open source developers are not liable for how or who uses software.
2) money transmission requires acceptance, possession/control of funds and transmission as FinCen guidance maintains
and (in a separate reconciliation bill or otherwise)
3) a de minimis exemption for bitcoin (note bitcoin should not be lumped in with broad crypto, if something else merits it, name it).
The best way to get your demands is to walk away and be a blocker. Brian Armstrong proved this. Everything else in the bill is noise.
Stablecoins and market structure have both been prioritized. When the de minimis exemption was on the table, it got killed. When special interests were trying to re-write the Genius Act to prevent stablecoin yield, Coinbase threatened to walk away from, and not support, a different bill (Market Structure) to ensure that didn't happen. I apologize if people don't believe you and think Coinbase might say different things publicly and than it does in private (DC politics seem like a nasty business), just based on the optics but also based on the credibility of TFTC's reporting and that they are standing by it.
Would Coinbase walk away from the market structure bill to ensure that the bitcoin de minimis exemption gets support regardless of what bill or how that is done? That would be the best way to prove that Coinbase actually supports it and are not undermining it to advantage bigger priorities of Coinbase like those that are in the Genius Act or the Market Structure bill. It's one thing to deny something was said. It's another thing to support a change to a market structure that is holding back innovation in bitcoin payments. That would be the best way to prove the reporting is false.
@GavinNewsom@dpakman Why would anyone listen to you about how someone else wrecked the economy when you single handedly wrecked the 4th largest economy in the world. I guess you are speaking from personal experience.
