The House passed HB92 which bans abortion in WY if the Supreme Court overturns Roe v Wade. The flawed bill outlaws abortion even in the case of rape & contradicts WY's constitution which says "each competent adult shall have the right to make his/her own health care decisions".
After a 14 hour day, 55 amendments to the budget, some logical decisions- raises for state employees :) and head scratching suggestions - $5M to Texas to help build the boarder wall (!?!) - the House is adjourned. We'll see you tomorrow.
Your representatives want to hear from you! When sending an email, be sure to:
- Include the title of the bill & the bill # in the subject line
- Identify where you live & if you are a constituent
- Make it personal & share why the bill is important to you
- Be civil & concise

Rep. Connolly explains her intent to vote NO on special session rules. "My bragging rights for Wyoming with these rules are out the door...We have a process we can be proud of and this is not it."
“I think we’ve been unnecessarily focused on fighting vaccine requirements instead of actually doing the best for public health, which is encouraging people to get vaccines and trying to educate people where they are most hesitant.” - Rep. @itsmikeyin https://t.co/hbJ7KtNnBP
“Sen. Rothfuss and Rep. Connolly sponsored two bills aimed at protecting workers…House Bill 13 would ensure unemployment benefits to workers who quit businesses that don’t comply with anticipated federal COVID-19 standards.” https://t.co/OPRsvwbkQp
