Y8 are still struggling with compound area, especially with subtraction. Today I made them write a plan without numbers before they were allowed to do any calculations. It worked pretty well - I need to do this sort of thing more often.

Office apps (including quite importantly, PowerPoint) now have a Casio ClassWiz font built in so you can type any key from your calculator straight into your PowerPoints. I’m going to be saving a file with all of these so I can access easily.
