@An00bisTV@Sony Sadly we are old men fighting a battle the newer generations know nothing about. The concept of you will own nothing and like it is not what anyone with common sense would want.
Let’s sum things up recently with PlayStation
- Increased PS5 Prices
- Removed over 500 movies/TV shows from PS Store
- Still wants to Focus on live service games after a whole generation of failure with them
- Closed Bluepoint
- Stop Disc Production in Jan 2028
What a joke…
Killing discs in the middle of a storage cost crisis where you can only fit like four games on a drive to begin with is quite the move. See Xbox just cutting its 2TB model since it costs too much
Physical disc production ending in January 2028 for new games releasing on PlayStation consoles.
"Physical game disc production for all new games releasing on PlayStation consoles will be discontinued starting January 2028."

It never ends.
Effective August 1st:
Series S 512GB $399 >> $499
Series S 1TB $449 >> $599
Series X 1TB all digital $599 >> $749
Series X 1TB disc $649 >> $799
no more 2TB option.
FWIW, the Series S is still the cheapest option for a console to play GTAVI.
so you're saying that for $120 I get a complete out of the box experience, no tinkering required, and one of the best customer support teams in the industry?
so the steam machine is actually not overpriced at all? especially since the steam controller is better than an Xbox one
