@FictionPress I guess this is it people, fanfiction . net is "unofficially" abandoned. Last tweet from the devs is 5 months ago, the traffic stats still not fixed and it happened every new year, and no new look update that they promised months ago. At this point, better move to other sites.
@FictionPress At this point, I think it's safe to say that the devs don't give a damn anymore about the whole service overall.
The comission spam, story and review not syncing, missing stats from September 2023 to December 2023, app and web functionality bugs, and many more!
@Oldiesbutfaves @FictionPress Yeah, sadly, I guess this would be the case.
They once heard and listened my report of that document editor bug on app, even sending me an update of the progress through DM maybe two months ago. But after that, they wouldn't answer to my other bug reports and left me hanging.
@FictionPress And I couldn't delete those spams because your supposedly delete review feature in app has to comply with deletion guideline, and it didn't detect the spam as deleteable review.
Can't you just give us a simple delete review feature where we can delete any review that we want?
@FictionPress And you know, my new published fanfic quickly got review spammed by those commision scammers, three times, in span of eight hours! I saw few stories got spammed, but not this bad.
So please, speak up, address this problem, and give us your promised app and web features!
@DisgruntledFan5@FictionPress It's not only reviews, but the traffic stats are also frozen once again, for so many times. But I don't know if it's also extends to favorite and follow stats too.
@FictionPress Alright Fanfiction, here's another problem to add to your list:
THE TRAFFIC STATS ARE NOT WORKING AGAIN!
And for goodness sake, please answer to our reports and suggestions! How can you be a good devs if you left your user base hanging and unsolved problems?
@FictionPress For me, I only encountered error 503 for a few times, and the rest of the site is working normally, for now.
But the thing is, I'm kinda disappointed for the lack of news and response to the users. Even my bug report through dm a week ago wasn't responded as well as it should be
@FictionPress I want to report that there's an abnormality of battery usage for your app. Ever since I updated to the latest version 66.0, I noticed that the battery usage for the app has significantly increased in abnormal manner.
I will explain the detail by DM.
@FictionPress There are still a few persisting bugs in app document manager where the spacing for each paragraph is still messed up after editing it. It's still present in the latest version of 65.1. I will post the bug report through the DM.
@FictionPress@GoDaddy Alright, while you're at it, please, for so many times, fix the email notifications.
And also, I don't know if you even remember, the missing stats from September 2023 to Early January 2024 are still not fixed yet. Please fix this too for goodness sake.
@DisgruntledFan5@FictionPress Funny thing is, only the website is down, while the app is working perfectly fine. We can see that they don't put any efforts on the web anymore, probably wanting us to move to the app.
@FictionPress Oh, and more problems to point out, while the email notifications are still not working to this day, it seems that your app notifications are also busted. I just found out today that I got a story review on June 25th or 26th, but no app notifications until I checked it manually.
@FictionPress Okay Fanfiction, just like the others, the email notifications aren't working and still busted for me as of today, June 18th. Funny thing is, the app notifications still works normally. I wonder if this is a ploy for people to switch to the app by ruining the email notifications?
@FictionPress By full resolution, I expect that you will also fix the empty traffic stats from September 2023 to early January 2024. If not, then I'd say you're kinda suck at managing the site since you promised us to fix it in this early year.
