AirDrop has gotten SO MUCH faster in iOS 27, especially in terms of how fast it connects.

While sending small files like docs, it’s basically instantaneous now.

Notice how fast the status changes to “Sent” when I click to send in the video below.

Before iOS 27, it used to take a few seconds connecting.

Now, it connects, sends, and opens the file on the target device within a second.
