Beautiful day today for the 2026 SCC golf conference championship at The Farms CC in Wallingford. X enters as the #1 seed, but should be a closely contested championship with multiple teams separated by a slim margin throughout the season. @athleticsXHS

Shout out to X golf alum Joe Ensign ‘18 for winning the 23rd Russell C. Palmer Cup today at the Country Club of Waterbury. Joe shot 71, 64, 73 to finish even par and a 1 shot victory. Congrats Joe! @athleticsXHS #ctbg

In a match to decide the SCC D1 regular season title, X shoots lowest round of year and wins over Cheshire 141-153. Ryan Glen is medalist with a -3 score of 33. Jack Dennis and Matteo shoot 36’s and Juan Herrera 37. X is 10-2 overall and wins SCC D1 finishing 7-1. @athleticsXHS

Our golf team is headed to Shelton this afternoon for their third match of the week. After winning both events on Monday and Tuesday, the boys are looking to close out the week with another win. They will need another day of low scores to make that happen!

The golf team improved to 7 - 1 on the season after another dominate performance on their home course. Leading the way for the team was Ryan Glen who shot even par followed by his teammates impressive rounds as well. They will close out a week of competition tomorrow at Shelton.

Golf team is back-to-back Wildcat Invitational Champions! All four golfers shot amazingly low scores considering the windy conditions. They finished 22 shots better than the runner up. Jack Dennis earned medalist honors shooting 1 under par.
The team travels to Hand tomorrow.

X wins the Wildcat Invitational with an outstanding team score of +2, 286. 14 participating schools and tourney host NFA is runner-up with 308. X’s score is believed to be the lowest ever in tournament history. Way to go X! @athleticsXHS #ctbg

Thru 12 holes today at the Wildcat Invite at Norwich GC, Xavier with a 10 shot lead over NFA in a 14 team field. All 5 X men playing well so far. @athleticsXHS
