Some of the best accounts to follow & most clued-up folks on Twitter have accounts with minuscule followers.

This is not to say that accounts with large followings are hollow.

But definitely that there is no relationship between the number of followers on an account & the quality of the account, the thoroughness of their posts or the deep technical knowledge they have on their specific subject matter.

Finding some of those is a treat to yourself. They can change your entire social media experience.

Let me share some of the ones that have mind-benders for me:

@costakonti1 tweets great "contrarian perspectives.

@mudiwagavz cutting edge news on the VC ecosystem in ZAR.

@Marinus_Bell thinks for himself. A rare find on the streets these days.

@MzamoDudula, cool dude to keep yourself in the know.

@GabiImmelman ... follow her. Thank me later.

@haleymbryant for DEI in VC. A must follow.

@Omomemi great resource for SME owners.

@rwang0 has a substantial following ... but is massively underrated. Check Ray out.

@Langa_Manqele scant on Twitter. But a follow for the occasional post.

@asanwal appear 10% smarter overnight with the cool infographic that they publish.
