Not even the sky is the limit for #ai - @DefBattleLab saw the successful test of an Apple M1 chip embedded in a drone! That enables live sensor processing previously not possible. Just 1 of the exciting #innovation and #collaboration opportunities available at @DIP_Dorset

Was on BBC Click in TV this morning. I made a friend spit out their cornflakes. The usual reaction I create. @Datacenta @DIP_Dorset @5gruraldorset @BBCClick #bbctv

I showed a group of business owners primarily from Bournemouth and Poole what is happening further west into Dorset in @DIP_Dorset #innovationpark. Strong security aligned biz, big engineering employer Atlas Electronik that will need 200+ as part of their growth. @UKSiliconSouth

A near $5bn defence company coming to the Dorset Innovation Park today to visit and show. People are noticing 👀Dorset on the global map. 👍🌎🛬…🌳👨‍🔧👩🏻‍💻👨🏽‍💻🧑🏿‍💻👨🏼‍💻🌳…🛫 Make that noise 📣

[Datacenta (Digital | Data | Defence as a Service) @Datacenta]

We are looking to employ someone who can handle internal comms & stakeholder engagement to support us on several projects. Having background in Police / Digital / Data / Security is helpful. Based @DIP_Dorset with periodic travel to London/Midlands.

[Gordon Fong (🍸🦐🦀🥋) @GordonFong]

The Minister for Digital Infrastructure @mattwarman visited the Innovation Park to meet all the partners in the @DorsetCouncilUK @5gruraldorset project. Delighted to show him what we had built on @DIP_Dorset and the data centre designed by our staff - @Datacenta @timaharris

[Datacenta (Digital | Data | Defence as a Service) @Datacenta]

It feels like we deliberately only take photos of a finished job for @5gruraldorset when the sky is blue and the sun is out. #dorset @DIP_Dorset

We got a delivery the other day over at @DIP_Dorset at the @Datacenta offices.

To be clear, it’s didn’t deliver itself 😂! To be safe, I better fly it inside the #BattleLab, that’s what it’s there for.

I do drone on 😒😒 #D3IP

Taking shape for both buildings. Real buzz starting on the Park and that's not just the power lines and 5G masts going up. Well done to @MediaDriftwood on the authorised drone footage. #innovation Centre #battleLab

There’s the beginnings of a roof. #d3ip #battleLab workshop @DIP_Dorset @InnovationArmy @Datacenta

Big thanks to @TheMikePeck88 from #spirent for assessment and input on @DIP_Dorset as location for @DCMS supported 5G collaboration testing and training facility. Skills shortage is a big issue with @uk_5G

[Gordon Fong (🍸🦐🦀🥋) @GordonFong]

This is why we need more data scientists, engineers and architects. “D3 = Digital | Data | Defence”

[Gordon Fong (🍸🦐🦀🥋) @GordonFong]

Don’t worry, just because my profile picture has a yellow bib and hard hat, I’m not building this one. #buildBackBetterer.

[Gordon Fong (🍸🦐🦀🥋) @GordonFong]

Build it and they will come... We need companies who can imagine dual-purposing their products and services for national security as a new opportunity. @DIP_Dorset @timaharris @Datacenta
