Funny, because the FBI actually found over 100 classified documents stashed there, including national security secrets, leading to actual criminal charges against him and his buddies. Turns out, hiding top-secret papers in your personal residence isn't usually the sign of someone being railroaded, but rather someone who broke the law.

This whole "victim" routine conveniently ignores that the DOJ, under Trump’s second term, has already been busy prosecuting his critics and those who dared investigate him. They scream "weaponization" when the government looks into Trump's actual conduct, but have no problem weaponizing the exact same department to go after their perceived enemies and rewrite the story of how those classified documents ended up next to the toilet. BREAKING: YES! A federal appeals court deals Trump a crushing Friday defeat by ruling that his hack MAGA minion John Sarcone was “not lawfully serving” as New York's top federal prosecutor when he targeted Letitia James’ office.

This will send him into the weekend steaming mad...

“We hold that Sarcone was not serving as Acting U.S. Attorney when he obtained the subpoenas because the [Federal Vacancies Reform Act] permits only a First Assistant already in place when the vacancy arises to become the acting officer automatically,” Judge Guido Calabresi wrote in a 39-page opinion, using an abbreviation for the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

The court's ruling upholds a January decision from a lower court which disqualified Sarcone as the acting U.S. attorney for the Northern District of New York and quashed the subpoena he issued to James's office as part of a blatant White House-backed campaign of political retribution.

Trump has been trying to exploit an automatic succession rule loophole to appoint his henchman as top federal prosecutors by making them "first assistants" which is technically the number two position inside a U.S. attorneys office. He hoped that with the top job vacant, the No. 2 appointee would become the de facto U.S. attorney.

In Sarcone's case, his 120-day term as interim U.S. attorney expired last July, at which point then-Attorney General Pam Bondi mutated his title to "special attorney," hoping to keep him in place.

“To install someone in a vacant office through a general delegation authority that [federal statute] expressly forbids, is to install an acting officer by another name,” Calabresi wrote. “The FVRA forbids it.”

The Justice Department has already signaled that they intend to pursue this case to the Supreme Court, where they hope that the corrupt MAGA justices will side with their abuse of power. But this case is such an open-and-shut issue that even the most crooked judges on the bench may have to side against Trump.

Before Reagan, the top individual tax rate was 70% and the top corporate rate was 46%.

Today, thanks to Republicans, profitable large corporations pay an average effective rate of only 9% after Trump’s corporate tax cut.

Billionaires live off stock, capital gains, and loans against their assets, while giant corporations hire accountants to make taxable income disappear.

Meanwhile, the federal minimum wage has been stuck at $7.25 since 2009. Working people pay taxes straight out of every paycheck.

You voted for the Iraq War. You backed decades of tax cuts tilted toward corporations and the wealthy. You helped build the debt, then point to it as an excuse to attack healthcare, retirement, housing, childcare, and every other program that helps ordinary Americans.

Clinton left office with an actual surplus. Every Republican president since Reagan has increased the deficit, largely through tax cuts for the wealthy and unfunded wars.

Obama's debt came mostly from responding to the 2008 financial crisis, one that began under Bush's watch and two unfunded wars.

Biden's came mostly from continuing the same COVID emergency response from Trump with the U.S. economy in free fall in January 2021 when he took office and global inflation.

Trump alone has personally added $11.6 trillion across one and half term, more than any president in history.

The debt did not come from working people wanting too much. It came from Washington cutting revenue for the powerful, financing wars on credit, and refusing to make the beneficiaries pay their share. Don’t blame “socialism” for a debt crisis you helped create.

If it wasn't for Republicans our nation would've been debt free.
