The American “bad guy = British” trope continued with the rather magnificent Red October…

🚨BREAKING: The U.S. military is preparing for the first execution in more than 60 years — and Army Major Nidal Hasan is on the list.
Hasan carried out the 2009 Fort Hood massacre, killing 13 people (including an unborn child) and wounding more than 30 others while shouting “Allahu Akbar.” He targeted unarmed soldiers at a readiness processing center as they prepared for deployment.
He was convicted of 13 counts of premeditated murder and 32 counts of attempted premeditated murder, stripped of his rank, and sentenced to death. He has been on death row at Fort Leavenworth for over a decade and has shown no remorse.
The Army has developed plans (including “Operation Resolute Justice”) to carry out military executions if authorized by the President. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has publicly expressed commitment to seeing Hasan’s death sentence carried out. Hasan’s final appeals have been exhausted.
If approved and carried out, it would mark the first U.S. military execution since 1961.
Thirteen American service members never came home because of Hasan’s jihadist attack on his own fellow soldiers. Justice has been delayed for far too long.
“This is my son who was killed by an Islamic Taliban supporting Afghan by shooting him in the back because he was an "infidel".
If any of you can even imagine for one moment the tears I have shed… Please help honor and remember my son.
I’m just a humble Gold Star father who wrote a childrens book for my grandson and for the kids who have lost someone also. The book is called,
My Daddy's Heart is Purple, available on Amazon.

Does anyone remember this amazing story? On July 2, 1982, a truck driver from California flew 16,000 feet into the sky in a lawn chair. Larry Walters, 33, from San Pedro, had dreamed of flying his whole life. He bought 42 eight-foot helium weather balloons, tied them to a regular Sears lawn chair, strapped on a parachute, packed a BB gun to pop balloons to descend, a CB radio, sandwiches, and a six-pack of beer.
He expected to float a few hundred feet above his backyard. He cut the rope and shot up like a rocket — to 16,000 feet. He drifted directly into the main approach path for LAX. Two airline pilots radioed the tower: they had just passed a man in a lawn chair holding a gun at 16,000 feet. For 45 minutes, he floated over Los Angeles, freezing cold, too scared to shoot balloons because he might fall. Finally, he started popping balloons one by one and slowly descended.
He landed tangled in power lines in Long Beach, California, causing a blackout. When police arrested him, they asked why he did it. He said, "A man can't just sit around." The FAA fined him $4,000. He became a national folk hero — Lawnchair Larry — and inspired the movie Up.

Retired Wilmington Police Department K9 Karson passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 19, 2026, following a period of declining health. The beloved Belgian Malinois was humanely euthanized to prevent further pain and discomfort from age-related illnesses, including severe muscle loss, weak back legs, and failing eyesight and hearing.
The Wilmington Police Department honored Karson's dedication with a formal police escort for his final ride to the Suburban Veterinary Clinic in Centerville, Ohio.
Before crossing the Rainbow Bridge, his longtime handler and partner, former officer J.J. Popp, spoiled him with a final meal of a New York Strip steak and donut holes.
ICE is finally surging in New York City.
Tom Homan just confirmed nearly 6,500 criminal illegal aliens have already been taken off NYC streets since Trump took office. Arrests are climbing fast in neighborhoods across the five boroughs, and Democrats are furious.
This is what enforcing the law looks like.
This is what America voted for.
