@wplazmp@chess24com@AlienWitty The rook on e1 is safe with the King after the Queen sac for the bishop because the King can continue to dodge the checks on from the Queen while the rook on e7 is threatening checkmate. Unless I am not seeing the proper move with Black’s Queen.
🔥🚨 BREAKING: CHAOS on the Senate Floor — Sen. Brian Schatz (D) ran in and BLOCKED Sen. Kennedy's resolution to stop paychecks to Congress during a government shutdown...
SEN. SCHATZ: "I object." *Runs away...*
KENNEDY: "He objected and LEFT THE CHAMBER. Is he COMING BACK? Wait, I mean, is he ill?!"
"Does that mean I can object to anything at any time without being recognized?"
Canada and America have this rivalry where Americans dislike Canada like a big brother dislikes his younger siblings, and Canadians dislike America like Brutus disliked Caesar
Reporter: “Russia said this week that they’ve tested a new missile that can go more than 8,000 miles. Is that been saber rattling for you?”
President Trump: “They know we have a nuclear submarine the greatest in the world right off their shore. So I mean it doesn’t have to go 8,000 miles. They’re not playing games with us, and we’re not playing games with them either.”
“I don’t think it’s an appropriate thing for Putin to be saying, by the way.”
for those who haven't been following, this nepal story is fucking crazy:

- government cant handle the protests, lift social media ban
- doesn't do anything, people just organize further
- burn down parliment building, pm's house. beats the shit out of the finance minister in the streets, kills the pm's wife.
- kids elect their own new PM on their discord server, ex-chief justice of the supreme court who was part of the 1990 revolution that ended the monarchy
- army head ackowldges the validity of the discord vote and is meeting the new interm PM to discuss elections for new leadership going foward

I wrote this a while ago and had previously written things I did not want to include, but I wish to be transparent so here’s the entire conversation that helped me shape this passage.
Perception vs. Reality
Perspective allows us to frame reality, while reality allows us to take a perspective—both intangible, yet malleable.
To Perceive, First Witness
For us to truly perceive, we must bear witness to reality. Be warned: perception can contain aspects unbeknownst to reality.
Perception itself must be melted down before one can truly witness reality.
Reality is unaware of our ideals.
Reality is unaware of our dreams.
Reality is unaware of our nightmares.
Reality is the projection of perception.
Before witnessing reality, one must forgo perception.
Reality is everlasting and always willing. Yet in every age, perception is offered prepackaged—delivered not from self-witness, but from the few who dictate what the many are meant to believe. In all periods of time (even now), the few dictate reality to the many.
Reality, Undisturbed
Reality is what is held to be self-evident when left to its own devices.
If you don’t go to work, you will get fired. That’s reality.
If you get fired with no other means of income, you will end up with no money. That’s reality.
If you end up with no money, you can’t pay bills. That’s reality.
You can’t pay bills? You’re homeless.
Albeit, this reality can be—and is—easily avoided by many every day.
The factors can vary depending on the cards you were dealt from the beginning, but the way you play is decided by you.
The reality is not:
Your cards will lose,
you’re down on your luck,
it’s your last chance.
That is perception.
The Game and the Table
Reality is taking account of everything on the table.
Witness all movement.
Breathe in the reality you’re surrounded by.
Breathe out the reality you are filled with.
Only when everything of notice is held within your mind will you begin to perceive what is there and what can be.
Perception is what the cards seem to mean.
Perception is how the game is played.
Perception is possibility.
Reality is the table itself.
Reality is the deck of cards.
Reality is stubborn.
When you attempt to perceive what can be, you must first battle what already is—not as it is imagined, but as it reveals itself.
That is one of many barriers to innovation.
The Question is...
Must one experience greatly to appreciate deeply?

Freedom
The land of milk and honey is the United States.
It’s not about what we are now, or even what we were when it began, but rather what we represent at our foundation. Nowhere else adds so purely and positively to who you can become.
The ideas of human rights and individual liberty began to bloom near the turn of the 18th century—otherwise known as the Enlightenment. Namely accredited figures include John Locke, Rousseau, and Voltaire. These thinkers sowed the seeds of a referential history, much like how major events throughout the 20th century contribute to how our world operates today.
Even the forefathers, shaped by struggle and guided by a growing proclivity for liberty, needed forethought to forge what would become the single greatest influence on who you are today.
We live in a land that inspires you to be more than you currently are—whether you like it or not.
