@krazymustang Maybe I'm too stupid to understand, but why don't they deploy the following as a temp solution:
The military to perform Security = no queues.
Humanitarian orgs to distribute water and take of the elderly and children??
It's no shame to ask for help when needed.
#AMS#Schipol
@sebdejong@markrutte@Schiphol Maybe it's time for @RodeKruisAmstAm to enter with humanitarian aid at @Schiphol . Red Cross could hand out water in this crisis, ensuring no hospital crisis.
I can't believe this is happening in Europe. I hope the brave airport staff stay strong. Be kind to them.

@ColinLeMahieu@rramentoll@payid_org@nano As far as I know, the only way to currently pack data into this "DNS" #PayID is to prefix PayID with property values e.g.
PizzaNumber4$Nano.com
I could be wrong but the whitepaper has good info. Maybe the protocol @payid_org would like to answer?

@payid_org@XRPSPEED@XrpMr@XummCommunity DNS servers route information, @payid_org route money. How will you scale / keep up when you become a Nexus for trillions of payments each day? Are you ready to be used by everyone?
@Silkjaer @OttoGunger @alloynetworks @BoydOakes @ToastWallet@Coil I've experimented with with Coil in Android apps early on and it's simply not possible since the OS browser (which apps use) cannot use Coil plug-ins. It's a choice by Coil not to monetize the app ecosystem and I think it's not legal by Play Store policy to monetize this way.
@JoelKatz If correct then destination tags for orders wouldn't be necessary if I put in my PayID when I order something. The store could match received payment info with the PayID I give them at checkout, assuming PayID can be seen by the receiver.
@JoelKatz Could PayID be used for verification purposes? If I buy a pineapple pizza online, the pizza place would know instantly that I made the payment if my pizza store profile contains my PayID. No ambiguity/vagueness who made the payment, correct?
@ToastWallet The dev has strong opinions and that's ok even when we disagree. We all have. Being a dev in a tip based community is not always easy. Thousands of hours of work, creating free and secure apps and many times tips are absent. Devs also have bills to pay. It's a delicate balance.
@synetic6@JoelKatz@MikeNardolillo@val5linx ...but making maybe the best theoretical & practical solution and the best Star Trek tech to solve a problem, might not apply perfectly in the real world, where efficiency and zero friction aren't the only goals for the institutions and their stake holders.
@JoelKatz@MikeNardolillo@val5linx "... didn't want to touch digital assets". So the institutions no longer have those reservations?
I'm genuinely interested in hearing what has changed regarding the institutions opinions of #XRP and #ODL
What changed their minds?
