In 1847, German physicist Hermann von Helmholtz formalized the 1st Law of Thermodynamics mathematically, establishing it as a universal principle.
Matter cannot be created, or destroyed.
This law to me has always echoed the unique, often divisive, doctrine of Latter-Day Saint theology that man was in the beginning with God, and that intelligence, as well as matter, are eternal elements of the universe.
I noticed studying this evening that the revelation in Doctrine & Covenants 93 was given to Joseph Smith from our Lord Jesus Christ in 1833, 14 years prior to the formalization of the first law of thermodynamics.
I would say that is prophetic.
@ThoughtfulSaint When Joseph responded to a newspaper reporter what made his religion different from other Christian religions, he replied, โWe believe the Bible and they donโt!โ This guy confirms it completely ignoring Luke 24:36-39.
@BasedMikeLee America and its capitalistic system prove not even the sky is the limit. For Elon itโs space and Mars. Congrats to him and his employees. His story is legend and itโs still being written.
@MrAndyNgo When the media goes after all the Left lunies attacking Trump signs, including folks in Trump hats and shirts for hate crimes, then they can fain their outrage, until then STFU! By the way, isnโt that a โpublicโ sidewalk?
@jmbrim3@derExecutor Jesus also said he came not to condemn, but to save. Can you imagine a world where all professing Christians strived to emulate the Savior in this way? The examples set alone would convert thousands.
@KelseaJ112@Lovemyproxy As Joseph Smith stated when asked by a newspaper reporter what made his faith different from other Christian faiths, โWe believe the Bible and they donโt!โ
