Those who claim "XRP will only be used for gas fees and remain utility less" completely miss a fundamental fact. there are definitive technical rules that mandate XRP to remain "locked" in the system once institutional players step in.

To issue, hold in institutional wallets, or transfer any stablecoin "including RLUSD" tokenized bonds, stocks or any other asset on the network opening a Trust Line is a strict technical necessity.

Under the XRPL architecture the network strictly mandates locking XRP as an Owner Reserve for every single institutional account created, every smart contract object and every open Trust Line.

When trillion dollarr tokenized assets and millions of institutional accounts enter the ecosystem, billions of XRP will inevitably be pulled from the market and locked as system reserves due to these Trust Lines and wallets. As long as these accounts remain active, that XRP cannot be spent, directly drying up the circulating supply.

Furthermore XLS-66 Protocol is purpose built for institutional finance. When banks or funds establish credit pools (Single Asset Vaults) on the network using RLUSD or other tokenized assets, regulated financial rules require these pools to hold risk collateral.

In these lending mechanisms the network infrastructure is designed to incentivize locking the native asset XRP as collateral to ensure smart contract security and guarantee liquidity.
