@FoxForgerAlpha @FWPlayboy It’s not just about protection or provision anymore. Most women want emotional safety and partnership, that’s a form of strength too.
@TradePunk_@FWPlayboy Or maybe it’s not a “game” at all. Women earning more doesn’t mean we want less from men, it means we value genuine connection over transactions.
@FWPlayboy Sounds like someone’s nostalgic for a time when women didn’t have choices. We’re not harder to love, we just expect partnership, not ownership.
"This isn’t your Greatest Generation’s dating market. Prairie farm ladies aren’t waiting at home for a battle-weary man to rescue them from spinsterhood. Women aren’t effusively grateful to men for giving
them the opportunity to exit the singles market.
The sexual market has, in sum, devolved from a K-selected one to an r-selected one, and all that goes with such a cataclysmic change.
The era of High Male
Investment and Low Male Sexiness courtship signaling — poems and flowers and punctuality and appeasing her parents and stressing your financial stability and lavishing her with promises of eternal devotion - is OVER. Or, at least, its effectiveness greatly attenuated.
We are now in the era of Low Male Investment and High Male Sexiness, or altered perceptions thereof."

Master and Commander (2003) is one of the most underappreciated epics of the 21st century. The chemistry between Russell Crowe & Paul Bettany drives the film, while Peter Weir’s direction turns naval life into pure cinematic poetry.
James Salisbury was the OG ground beef carnivore guy.
He treated Civil War soldiers with digestive diseases using an all-meat diet in the 1860s.
His protocol: ground beef three times daily, no vegetables, no grains.
Results: digestive issues resolved, strength returned, dysentery cured.
He published his findings. The "Salisbury steak" was named after him.
Then nutritional science moved toward "balanced" diets and his work was forgotten. The treatment worked. We stopped using it anyway.
5 pm. Pitch black in Northern Europe and it’ll stay this way for the next 5 months. This is why SSRI intake is sky-high (which only makes things worse) and why no one resists being robbed of 70% of their paycheck in broad daylight.
High-serotonin societies. Horrendous.
My most speculative theory is that one of the main reasons Scandinavians (and Northern Europeans more broadly) tolerate the oppressive conditions their governments subject them to (the world’s highest taxes, mass replacement, bureaucratic suffocation) is due to chronically low vitamin D/thyroid levels from lack of sunlight.
Combine that with record SSRI use and you have a perfect recipe for learned helplessness and giga metabolic suppression: a kind of polite smiling mental slavery.
The welfare state would collapse within a month if northerners simply started going to the tanning shop every day and taking thyroid.
