We’re so busy looking for love in other areas that we forget the people who love us that are right there in front of us.
Don’t take people for granted.
They may love you forever, but they may not be around forever.
Appreciate what you have before it turns into what you had.

Kunnen jullie dit blijven delen het is echt echt heel dringend aan het worden, de situatie thuis loopt volledig uit de hand, zelfs tot fysiek geweld, en mijn pups zijn écht niet veilig
The reality is, when most people are at their happiest, they have no desire to bring people down, ridicule them, or hurt them in anyway. Such a desire typically stems from a place of negative emotion. Whether it is a dissatisfaction with their own lives, stress, envy, etc…
I remember getting frustrated over an unkindness someone showed me and my boyfriend said: “If it was the happiest day of their lives, do you think they would have behaved in this way?”. In that moment my frustration became pity. I was reminded that misery simply loves company.
So often we hurt our own feelings by thinking we mean more to people than we really do just because they mean that much to us. People treat you exactly how they feel about you. Pay attention to actions, not just words.
