Antes de julgar o E-Day, vamos ser justos com ele.

Tô com 20 horas de jogo e fico triste vendo tanta briga por causa de um Gears tão bom. E muita gente falando sem nem ter jogado.

Eu também não curto jogo que coloca mensagem na frente da diversão. Mas no E-Day eu não vi isso. A história é do Marcus e do Dom, do início ao fim.

A Mags é só mais uma do esquadrão Bravo, não é protagonista. Luta do lado deles e manda bem pra caramba. A capitã Akila Grey aparece pra registrar o esquadrão e só. No multiplayer tem bandeira LGBT pra quem quiser usar, mas é cosmético. Não mexe em nada no jogo.

Ah, e pra quem tá dizendo que o jogo flopou: 31.517 jogadores ao mesmo tempo na Steam. Mais de três vezes o recorde do Gears 5. E tá no Game Pass.

Vamos com calma, galera. Joguem primeiro e depois falem. Pra mim esse E-Day é um jogaço, o Gears raiz que eu esperava há anos. ⚙️

I just finished the Gears of War: E-Day campaign, and I loved everything about it—the pacing, the story, the atmosphere, and how visually stunning the game is.

As someone who has been playing Gears for 20 years, I can confidently say this was hands down my favorite campaign in the series.

I’ve wanted to experience an E-Day story for so long, and The Coalition did it justice.

Watching Kalona go from this beautiful, thriving city to absolute destruction as Emergence Day unfolds was incredible. They perfectly portrayed E-Day the way I had always imagined it—the chaos, the fear, the devastation, and especially the terror of the Locust suddenly being unleashed upon the people of Sera.

The visuals, audio, and writing throughout this campaign were stellar. The environments were absolutely beautiful, the sound design made every encounter feel intense, and the writing really captured the emotion and horror of what was happening around Marcus and Dom.

Even knowing where the story of Gears eventually goes, experiencing the beginning of it all through Marcus and Dom gave me an entirely new appreciation for this world and these characters.

After 20 years with this franchise, E-Day reminded me exactly why I fell in love with Gears in the first place.

What an experience.
