Vous êtes les premiers responsables de cette tentative d’assassinat contre Donald Trump au dîner des correspondants de la Maison-Blanche, ce samedi 25 avril 2026. Oui, vous. Pas le tireur isolé, pas le « déséquilibré » qu’on nous servira demain comme bouc émissaire commode. Vous. Ceux qui, depuis 2015, ont transformé le débat politique en chasse à l’homme. Ceux qui ont diabolisé, déshumanisé, criminalisé un président élu deux fois par le peuple américain.

Vous avez passé une décennie à le traiter de Hitler, de menace existentielle pour la démocratie, de raciste, de fasciste, de violeur, d’agent de Poutine. Es sollte euch stutzig machen, wenn Nachrichten dazu führen, dass ihr euch emotional stark dazu verhaltet. Wenn ihr merkt, dass ihr wütend, entsetzt oder hilflos werdet, fragt euch, warum und warum ihr früher nicht wütend wart, obwohl die Situation damals sogar noch schlimmer war.

Es gibt Akteure, die von eurem Zorn profitieren: Medienunternehmen, Anbieter sozialer Netzwerke, aber auch politische Akteure, die gezielt bestimmte Narrative vorantreiben.

ICE‑Behörden sind keine Gestapo. Sie handeln nach gesetzlich vorgeschriebenen Verfahren und unter Aufsicht. Trotzdem werden sie in vielen Medien und von bestimmten politischen Akteuren dämonisiert. Bilder von ICE‑Beamten werden bewusst ausgewählt, um sie als grausam oder unmenschlich erscheinen zu lassen. Szenen, in denen Beamte Menschen in Handschellen abführen, werden isoliert gezeigt, ohne Kontext, während Informationen über den Hintergrund dieser Personen ausgelassen werden. Diese Dämonisierung soll bewusst Emotionen hochkochen und Gewalt rechtfertigen:

Donald Trump wird immer wieder dämonisiert, daraufhin gab es Anschläge auf ihn. Elon Musk ebenfalls, daraufhin kam es zu Angriffen auf seine Unternehmen. Charlie Kirk wurde massiv verleumdet und dämonisiert, daraufhin wurde er ermordet. All das ist kein Zufall: Menschen werden emotional aufgeladen, damit sie aktiv werden, Gewalt ausüben und Chaos entsteht. Der Nazi‑ und Gestapo‑Vorwurf ist dabei der einfachste Weg der Emotionalisierung. Wer emotional manipuliert wird, wird zum Kanonenfutter für diejenigen, die von diesem Chaos profitieren.

Ein anschauliches Beispiel für die Folgen emotionaler Aufladung ist Renée Good, die in einer Protestaktion ICE‑Beamten in den Weg trat. Good handelte vollständig emotional aufgeladen, überzeugt davon, dass sie „Gutes“ tun und angeblich böse Menschen aufhalten müsse. Sie setzte sich bewusst in Gefahr. Sie hatte keine Freunde, die ihr sagten, dass es keine gute Idee ist, sich bewaffneten Behörden in den Weg zu stellen.

Sie wurde stattdessen darauf konditioniert, emotional aufgeladen zu handeln: „Stell dich dazwischen, sei wütend, empört, emotional!“ Sie wurde zum Kanonenfutter für diejenigen, die von ihrer Wut profitieren.

Fragt euch immer, warum ihr über manche Ereignisse tagelang detailliert informiert seid, während andere, teils weitaus schwerwiegendere Vorfälle, nur am Rande Erwähnung finden.

Nehmen wir Seattle im Sommer 2020: Dort brannten ganze Stadtviertel, es entstand millionenschwerer Sachschaden, es kam zu Gewalt, zu schweren Verletzungen und auch zu Todesfällen. Polizeistationen wurden besetzt, Beamte aus den Stadtteilen verdrängt. Die Anführer erklärten öffentlich, dass sie einen Aufstand starten wollten, dass sie die staatliche Kontrolle ablehnen und einen faktischen Machtbereich errichten. Das war ein geplanter, organisierter Aufstand, ein Putschversuch im direkten Sinne.

Vergleicht man das mit dem 6. Januar 2021, zeigt sich: In seiner Brutalität, seinem organisierten Ausmaß und der Absicht war der 6. Januar bei weitem nicht so gravierend. Dort gab es kein organisiertes Vorgehen über Tage hinweg, keine Besetzung von Stadtvierteln oder Polizeistationen. Dennoch wird der 6. Januar medial stark hervorgehoben und emotional aufgeladen, während Seattle weitgehend heruntergespielt oder ignoriert wird.

All das zeigt: Es wird gezielt mit euren Gefühlen gespielt. Ihr bekommt vermittelt, worüber ihr euch empören sollt und worüber nicht. Die Gewichtung, die euch emotional erreichen soll, ist nicht zufällig. Wer emotional aufgeladen wird, wird zum Werkzeug für diejenigen, die von dieser Emotionalität profitieren.
