@iconwerk I wish it was more interactive though, like I would like to see the glass react in some way when phone is tilted, like how it was in ios 26 but i don’t want the highlights around the app icons only the highlights within app the app design
@avstorm Icons used to be layered elements in ios 26 with highlights within the app design, now its just a flat pre rendered image file, they need to bring back the attention to detail
@durreadan01 They should have removed the highlights around the app icons from iOS 26 but kept the highlights within the app design, in this case around the musical note, right now in iOS 27 it looks flat and lifeless, hopefully @Apple will find a balance.

@synthexic_@DylanMcD8 Yeab older icons had way more depth though, like they were made from actual layered elements, the new ones are just flat pre-rendered images
@hieudinh_ They do look better but the app icons has completely lost depth now. In iOS 26 it used to be layered elements with highlights, apple even made a tool for developers to implement this layered glass look to their apps and now its gone and flat they should bring the layers back
