Beijing Dao Zhang Law Firm has been entrusted by Zheng Peng (stage name: ZiYu) to handle legal matters regarding the insult, defamation, and false rumor-mongering directed at ZiYu on the internet recently.
We hereby announce the progress of certain cases to the public:
On July 28, 2026, lawsuits were filed in court against 7 Weibo accounts deemed to have infringed upon ZiYu’s reputation rights. Applications have been submitted to the court requesting the relevant online platforms to disclose the real-name identity information of these accounts.
Once the real-name identity details are obtained, legal actions will proceed against those who committed severe infringements, demanding that they:
Make a public apology
Pay monetary compensation
Bear full legal liability
Additionally, other reputation protection cases are actively underway, with real-time evidence collection continuing for content involving online false rumors, insults, and defamation.
If anyone fails to delete and continues to spread such content, ZiYu’s side will hold them accountable through all remedies permitted by law, including administrative complaints, civil lawsuits, and criminal charges.

The court has accepted applications requesting the platforms to disclose the users' real identities. Once those identities are provided, lawsuits against the actual individuals behind the accounts will immediately continue.

1. Weibo account: 专朋** ("Dedicated Friend")**
The real individual behind the account has already been identified.

The lawsuit has officially passed the court's case-filing review.
The case is now waiting for the court to schedule a hearing.

2. Douyin account: 宝子举报* ("Baby's Report")**
The lawsuit has already been filed against the real individual.
Court hearing date: August 19, 2026.

Besides these cases, many other reputation rights cases are still actively being handled according to law.
The legal team is continuously collecting evidence against malicious rumors, fabricated claims, defamatory posts, and other content infringing upon Ziyu's reputation across various online platforms.

Importantly, deleting posts will not end liability. The statement explicitly says that even if infringing content is deleted, Ziyu still reserves the right to pursue accountability through every available legal channel, including:
• Administrative complaints • Civil lawsuits • Criminal reports (where applicable) • Any other remedies provided by law
Those found liable may ultimately be required to:
Issue a public apology
Pay financial compensation for damages
